IT consultant at Omegapoint Stockholm with a background in IT engineering and technology-based entrepreneurship at Uppsala University in Sweden.

About me

I am a software developer, originally from the city of Luleå, working as a consultant in secure development at Omegapoint Stockholm. I have a background in IT engineering and technology-based entrepreneurship at Uppsala University which I started studying at in 2017. In my day to day, I work primarily with building Java-based micro services and I am actively pursuing an architectural track.

Outside of my work, I like playing around with web apps as hobby projects, mainly working with Django and React but trying to learn Svelte paired with other backends (happy to receive any tips). When I'm not coding, I'm also into photography, cross-country skiing and nature, preferably from the comfort of my camper van 🚐. When I'm feeling social, I try to remain active in a few of the student associations I've found particularly hard to leave.

Talks

I occasionally dabble in public speaking. Below are three of my latest talks presented at conferences in Sweden and Spain. All talks last between 15-30 minutes but can be extended or shortened to fit the context.

Cloud and Climate

Created November 2023 for the Omegapoint Competence Conference. This talk explains what greenhouse gas emissions are caused by cloud computing and how estimates are calculated. With some surprisingly simple changes in our cloud architecture we can reduce the emissions of our cloud environments by up to 99 %.

This talk was also made into a scientific poster in May 2024, available upon request.

Clean code, lightning fast

Created May 2025 for the Omegapoint Competence Conference. This presentation makes an attempt to summarize the 63 heuristics found in the book Clean Code by Robert C. Martin and present them in under fifteen minutes. It's lightning fast.

Software - A Craft?

Created May 2025 for the Omegapoint Competence Conference. This book attempts to apply Richard Sennett's book The Craftsman on the software industry and talks about what makes a craft and a craftsman, delving into the fields of creativity and aesthetics to provide a perhaps unexpected twist on software development.
